I have posted a similar image to this before, but decided to reshoot it tonight after honing my set up and technique a little. This is a Varroa Mite (I think) on the back of a blue carpenter bee. It's approximately 0.25mm wide. The total field of view of this image is approximately 2.06mm. It's shot at around 8.4:1 magnification, and comprises 199 images stacked in Zerene. It's still not perfect, but it's still a lot better than some of the images I've been getting for the past few days
